Sales office · DACH

Your sales office in the German-speaking wine trade — without building one.

Nearly six in ten litres of still wine Germany drinks are imported, and Italy, Spain and France supply four fifths of that. Getting listed still takes a German-speaking sales function on the ground. We are that function — for as long as you need it, and no longer.

The situation

A DACH sales team is a two-year project.

A representative for the German-speaking trade needs three things at once: the language, the buyer relationships, and the patience for a listing cycle measured in months. Hiring one means fixed cost long before the first pallet ships.

Not hiring one means your price list never reaches the desk where the decision is actually made. Most estates end up in the third option — an importer who takes the wine into their own portfolio, sets the price, and owns the customer.

There is a fourth. Keep the customer, keep the pricing, and rent the sales function.

How we work

Three steps, no retainer for discovery.

  1. 01

    Position

We rewrite your price list the way a German buyer reads one — their segments, their margin expectations, their language. We work with graphic designers who specialise in wine advertising and nothing else.

  2. 02

    Distribute

It goes out to buyers selected against a single criterion: the ability to import directly. Not a bought list — a curated one, maintained over decades.

  3. 03

    Convert

Sample requests are worked, not forwarded. Where a house asks to be contacted, our project management takes the conversation from there.

Three levels of involvement.

The difference between them is not how many addresses you reach. It is how much of the work stays with you.

Why us

The market access a new team would have to build first.

The people who run this business have worked the German wine market for more than 50 years. The numbers below are why the model works — and we name our sources, because almost nobody in this market does.

58 %

of still wine consumed in Germany is imported

10.9 of 18.8 litres per capita, 2023/24

81 %

of German import volume comes from Italy, Spain and France

83 % by value, 2024

< 1 000

German wine retailers operate at a size that can carry direct import

of roughly 6 900 wine shops in total

4th

largest wine consumption market in the world

Germany, ~17.8 million hl, OIV estimate 2024

Sources: Deutsches Weininstitut, «Deutscher Wein Statistik 2025/2026» (data year 2024) · OIV estimate 2024 · retailer size distribution from a commercial address database, queried 27 July 2026. The retailer figure is an indication, not an official statistic — no published count of directly importing specialist retailers exists.

Plainly

How we are paid, and what that means for you.

The estate pays us. Buyers never do. We hold no stock and we do not import on our own account, so there is no case in our warehouse we need to move — because there is no warehouse.

What we cannot do is guarantee a listing. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something else. What we can do is make sure the decision is taken by someone who actually imports, on material that reads like it was written for them.
